The "Yowie" captured on film (above) is sometimes added to new Yowie articles. While it may seem impressive at first, a little scrutiny shows it to be mundane wildlife.

Figure A (above right) seems to show the head and eyes of a large creature in the dark bush.

Figure B (above far right) shows the same area during daylight, taken by the same camera in the same position as A.

Figure C (right) overlays the 2 images and shows a small creature behind a moss-covered rock/log. Movement of the eyes are consistent with an owl.
